Tests required before the first consultation

  • complete blood count and biochemistry (including thyroid profile and lipase);
  • vitamin B12 and D levels, folic acid, and iron levels,
  • level of ions (sodium, potassium, calcium, phosphorus, chloride, and magnesium);
  • abdominal ultrasound;
  • general urine analysis;
  • stool examination for parasites;
  • echocardiogram.

Initial Consultation

Before the visit, the caregiver is required to complete a detailed questionnaire regarding the pet. The questionnaire covers, among others, the current diet, medical history, medications, as well as the preferences of the owner and patient.

During the first meeting at the veterinary office:

  • a dietary interview is conducted
  • the questionnaire is reviewed and the caregiver’s expectations are discussed;
  • medical records are interpreted;
  • a clinical examination is performed;
  • suggestions for any additional tests (beyond the mandatory ones) are made.

Visit duration: up to 60 minutes.
*Animals exhibiting aggression should be fitted with a muzzle.

Follow-up visits

second consultation is recommended 4–5 weeks after implementing the nutritional recommendations. Its purpose is to:

  • assess the current results;
  • implement any dietary modifications;
  • answer any additional questions from the caregiver.

Dietary Recommendations

The nutritional plan includes:

  • food and supplement recommendations;
  • individualized advice (including additional testing);
  • suggestions related to the pet’s lifestyle.
The owner receives a detailed diet plan for a specified period. The document is sent electronically within 14 business days of the initial appointment.If new recommendations require a complete development, an additional fee applies. Appointments can be booked online, by phone, or at the reception desk.Absences from scheduled consultations without prior cancellation will be recorded in the patient’s medical record. Late arrivals may result in a shorter appointment.

Supplement Costs

Implementing a dietary plan often requires supplementation. Monthly expenses can range from 100 to 1000 PLN, depending on the patient’s individual needs.

Terms of Service

The dietitian may terminate the relationship if recommendations are not followed or if the terms and conditions are violated. Fees for services already provided are non-refundable.
